WCWAA Weddington Titans offers 3 youth Flag Football programs.  Flag Football is a co-ed program for ages 4/5 - 12/13.  All practices and games are at Weddington Optimist Park on our upper turf football field.  This is a great experience that allows kids to run, pass and catch the ball.  It is also great for defense as it teaches angles and how to break down in the open field.   

The NFL and American Heart Association encourage kids to get physically active for at least 60 minutes a day.  Further, kids who are physically active have better conrol of their emotions and behavior, and may do better at school.  

Spring Flag - runs late March thru May

Summer Flag - runs June and July

Winter Flag - runs late November thru February

Registration for these programs typically opens about 30 - 60 days prior to starting.
