Bowling for Youth/Adults with Special Needs

Registration Dates:  November 1, 2022 - November 30, 2022

(Registration closes at midnight on November 30)

2023 Take On Sports Bowling Season Details: 

Dates/Times:  January 15, 2023 - February 26, 2023 (Sundays, 2:15 p.m.) 

*Please note:  There is no bowling league on Sunday, February 12, 2023, due to the Super Bowl.

• This league runs six weeks.

• A parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver is required to remain on-site during any Take On Sports activity.

Youth Program:

• Registration Fee: $70 includes T-shirt and trophy

  • A $25 late fee will be assessed on all registrations received after November 30, 2022.

Youth Ages:   

• Must be 5 years of age as of November 1, 2022.  (Eligible through 22nd birthday)

• Teams are setup according to skills and abilities instead of age. 

• Athletes are paired with Buddy Volunteers.

Buddy Volunteers: 

• No registration fee (will receive free Buddy Volunteer T-shirt)

• Must be 10 years of age as of November 1, 2022.

Adult Program:

• Registration Fee: $70 includes T-shirt and trophy

  • A $25 late fee will be assessed on all registrations received after November 30, 2022.

• Athletes age 23 and up.

• Athletes are paired with Buddy Volunteers.

Buddy Volunteers: 

• No registration fee (will receive free Buddy Volunteer T-shirt)
• Must be 18 years of age or older by November 1, 2022. (Background Check required)

Additional Information:

Athletes:   

• Teams are setup according to skills and abilities instead of age. 

• Athletes are paired with Buddy Volunteers.

Buddy Volunteers: 

• Assist athletes on the field providing instruction and encouragement.

• Buddy Volunteers 18 years of age or older are required to have a Volunteer Background Check.  Information on this process will be provided by the Sports Commissioner.
