Under the direction of Coach Mark Mennitt On Deck is proud to be offering private 1-on-1 lessons at WCWAA Optimist Park. All lessons will be 30 min in length. 

PLEASE NOTE: by clicking on the link below, you can schedule lessons to take place at the On Deck facility OR at WCWAA Optimist Park in the Area/Cages next to the Babe Ruth Field. If you wish to have the lesson at WCWAA, please look for the slots that indicate they are for the WCWAA location. Infield Play: Defense wins ball games! Very few indoor baseball training facilities in the country have the space to focus on defense. We have turf areas inside as well as a full sized infield outside.

Pitching: The staffs focus’ first and foremost on the mechanics of pitching. Proper mechanics lead to consistency and help prevent injury. Advanced players have the opportunity to learn not only proper mechanics but the mental approach to pitching.

Hitting: A major league approach to hitting from former and current professional players. Our staff is brings years of professional baseball & softball experience. Fundamentals of hitting for the beginner all the way up to the mental approach to each and every at bat to advanced player is what we teach.

Catchers: Catching is the most important defensive position in baseball and when it comes to training is often neglected.  Our instructors will help you maximize your talent behind the plate by teaching you the best technique in regards to receiving, blocking, footwork, and throwing.

NEW GUIDELINES PLEASE READ: Players must be dropped off for training sessions. No parents are allowed at cages during the session.  The coach will meet all players at the gate by the parking lot of the Babe Ruth Field.  At that time players will walk with the Coach to the cages. At the end of the session the Coach will walk the player back to the parking lot.
